Summary of Functions:

Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to join our dynamic organization in the Memphis Community on 1st shift. 

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the shipping dept with emphasis on managing warehouse employees and implementing warehouse action plans.  Responsibilities to include: labor management, operations, equipment, communication, documentation/reporting, quality, safety and security, and inventory management.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• 5 years exp in warehousing and/or 3PL including supervisory exp
• Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization, communication, advanced knowledge of WMPlus, Exceed, OM, Word, Excel, Outlook, and computerized scanning equipment. 
• Ability to physically access all areas of the work environment, ability to tolerate hot/cold work environment; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain constant physical activity including bending, lifting, walking, stooping, climbing; ability to safely operate and be certified on all PIT equipment.
