Job Description

Summary of Functions:

Due to continued growth we are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Swedesboro, NJ.  Work schedule is M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm

Summary of Functions:

• Supervising shipping, receiving, warehouse or production functions, to ensure cost effective, efficient, safe transportation, processing and receipt of goods.   

• Ensure that materials shipped, received, or processed are verified against pertinent documentation.

• Recommend and assist in implementing operating procedures, ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, promote continual improvement within the operation.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures, which may include recommendation for hiring, disciplinary action, performance evaluations, training, work allocation and problem resolution

• Respond to inquiries and research and resolve problems related to transactions

• Serve as liaison with other constituencies in the resolution of administrative and operational issues

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• 4 years of equipment operation and/or maintenance, knowledge of shop maintenance and clean-up procedures

• 4 years experience in organizational workflow and operating procedure

• Prefer a 4 year degree but minimum of 2 years education beyond High School.

• 3 - 5 Years experience as warehousing / manufacturing supervisor (floor operations) in a non- union environment.

• Must come across as approachable and friendly but must also demonstrate ability to hold people accountable.

• Supervised a minimum of 5 to 10 employees (all at one time)
